“We have also undertaken a 4 hour HR Audit that we found to be very beneficial in highlighting areas in which we needed to improve
and recommendations were made by Darren in the Audit report. Darren’s advice is well thought out and we have found it to be very useful”
When did you last cross examine the staff management processes and procedures of your company?
A HR Audit will help a business
fully understand how well they are managing their most import resource - their people.
The HR Audit is not a test but an ideal
business learning tool whereby management can determine compliance, identify and address issues and build the reputation of the
business.
Why do a HR Audit...?
To instil confidence in management’s ability to meet challenges

As the business owner you are
concerned about compliance and risk to the business
To identify gaps in staff management practices

Your business has industry
standards/accreditations to meet

You want to make sure your business effectively utilises it's human resources

You want
to maintain or enhance your business as an "Employer of Choice"
What will we audit...
The scope and size of your business will determine much of what we look at and the time it will take to
complete. The core areas we look at are:

Administration

Recruitment and retention strategies

Performance management

Workplace
Policies

Compliance

Staff turnover & absenteeism

Training and development

Documentation

OH & S

Planning
and strategy

Record keeping

And many more...
The process...
Pre-Audit Information: copies of HR manuals, handbooks, forms, reports, position description templates to be forwarded
to HR2You or made available on the day of the audit.
On-Site Review: the on-site review will take approximately four hours to
complete. An employee or manager familiar with all of the inner workings of the business will be required during this time. As we
work through the process a rating will be noted for each subject in each category, along with notes for actions/follow ups.
Report: at
the completion of the audit a report will be compiled and presented back to the business owner/manager for review. This one hour presentation
will include both a detailed and summary assessment of the audit results.
Actions: at this point the business can decide whether
to rectify any gaps or issues themselves or engage HR2You to do it.
Summary...
The HR Audit is a diagnosis tool and not a test. It is a systematic process to determine the health and wellbeing
of a business's ability to fully manage and utilise it's biggest resource - its people.
There is no pass or fail mark, just an
opportunity to fully understand the requirements of successful staff management.
The audit is recommended to any business with
the objective in mind to better (and compliantly) manage their people.
