Senior Engineer
Our client is a hydraulics and pneumatics service, sales and repair business that has been operating in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne for 40 years.
We are looking for an experienced hydraulics engineer who is very technical by nature and has the capability to grow to assume a greater responsibility within the business. This would suit a business savvy individual with a passion for the job and the customer.
Key Responsibilities
· New business development/customer interaction
· Front counter sales
· Manage workshop duties of 5 staff
· Stock management and control - ongoing
· Systems implementation and management
· Diagnosis of wide range of faults in all mediums of pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulics
Required Skills
· Hydraulics Engineering tertiary qualifications
· Mechanical engineering background
· Natural leadership and communication skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Minimum 10 years experience
Desired Skills
· In excess of ten years experience in hydraulics and pneumatics engineering
· Experience in mining, food and manufacturing sectors
· Natural networker and accumulator of business contacts
· Staff management experience
· Experience in heavy stream machinery
